Why are we such hypocrites? Why do we scream and scorn and spit?
Why isn't their love and depth to our souls, we've been redeemed -so why don't we live for more?
The gospel penetrates our very hearts, splits the body and the soul.
How do you even love us?
Our hands are so filthy with our brother's blood. The nations laugh and mock our faith, and yet here we stand laughing at each other. Why haven't we stood? Why haven't we said "My God is enough"?
How do you love us???
Such disgusting sin, we must make you cringe. Yet the beauty of You is that you see us as clean. No matter what we say, through the murder of a man, you see our dead bodies as alive. You chose us to be your children, how can that be???

Why do I do the things I despise? Why do I chase things my soul is not satisfied in?
Why do I forget that the people around me, need to know the joy of your Spirit indwelling us?
